What it does

Intuitive Shipping (opens in a new tab) is a shipping app for eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and BigCommerce, for managing shipping rules on your store.

With the integration, the rates you set up in Intuitive Shipping show in the SparkLayer checkout, where B2B customers choose one.

Set up Intuitive Shipping

Check the requirements, connect Intuitive Shipping with its API key, then test it at checkout.

Requirements

Connect Intuitive Shipping

  1. In your Intuitive Shipping dashboard, go to Settings > Partner Integrations and copy the API Key.
  2. In the SparkLayer Dashboard, go to Integrations,Partners (opens in your SparkLayer Dashboard in a new tab).
  3. Under Shipping, turn on the switch next to Intuitive Shipping.
  4. Paste the key into API Key and click Save.

Test the integration

  1. Sign in to your store as a B2B customer.
  2. Go through checkout until you reach Review & Pay.
  3. Under Shipping Method, check you see the rates you set up in Intuitive Shipping, for example Standard, Priority and Overnight, each with its delivery time and price.

Limitations

  • Shipping dates set up in Intuitive Shipping aren't used.
  • Only physical products are supported, not digital products.
  • Shipping prices are always shown net (excluding tax).
