Storefront Options
introduction you can now configure sparklayer directly from the storefront > options page in your sparklayer dashboard settings that previously had to be added by editing the core script in your theme (using javascript and json) are now fully managed in the dashboard, with no code required this makes setting up and configuring sparklayer far quicker and easier instead of editing your theme, you adjust everything visually, save it as a draft, and publish when you're ready please note the options page works alongside your existing core script it doesn't replace it you can manage settings in the dashboard and continue to use the core script at the same time, so existing setups keep working as they are key benefits no code required configure theme, pricing, checkout, account, and display settings visually, without touching your theme's core script safe changes with draft and publish save your changes as a draft first, so nothing changes for customers until you publish roll back at any time revert to your last published settings if you need to undo a change everything in one place manage general settings, translations, checkout fields, payment methods, account sections, custom slots, and analytics from a single page the draft and publish workflow changes you make on the options page are saved as a draft first they only go live for your customers once you publish them this lets you make and review changes safely before they reach your store the following actions are available action what it does save draft saves your changes without making them live discard changes discards any unsaved changes since your last save publish deploys your saved settings to your live site revert to published rolls your draft back to the last published version delete settings removes the saved settings the publishing status is shown at the top of the page if nothing has been made live yet, it shows as "not published" settings reference the options page is organised into sections each one controls a different part of how sparklayer looks and behaves general settings general settings for theme, pricing, and account behaviour turn each one on or off with a toggle setting what it does enable dark theme renders sparklayer's components using the dark colour scheme base savings on rrp calculates displayed savings against the rrp rather than the customer's own price show the rrp toggle lets customers switch between seeing the rrp and their own prices show savings on price breaks shows the amount saved next to each quantity price break round price break percentages rounds price break discount percentages to whole numbers hide financial figures hides financial figures from customers while enabled, the financials section of my account is hidden too show shipping address in order list shows each order's shipping address alongside it in the order list save address to address book by default saves the customer's address to their address book by default translation overrides override sparklayer's built in text on a per language basis this gives you a visual way to change wording that previously had to be set in the core script to add an override click add language and choose the language code (for example, en) select the key you want to change (for example, cart checkout notes label) enter your replacement text in the value field add further overrides for that language with add override , or add another language turn on show translation keys to see the underlying key names instead of the translated text this debug mode helps you find the exact key you want to change checkout fields manage the standard and custom fields shown at checkout the standard fields are customer reference, po number, and requested shipping date each can be set to show, hide, or be optional, and you can drag to reorder them to add your own field, click add custom field you can learn more about the available checkout options in our features guides \<!
