# Limitations

What works differently on Wix: no product card pricing or metafields, one-time address sync, single-currency orders, Wix discounts, fees and tax exemptions.

## Products

| Limitation | Details |
| --- | --- |
| **Product cards (gallery)** | The [product card interface](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/storefront/interfaces/product-card.md) isn't available on Wix. Where products are listed (such as your home page or a gallery page), B2B pricing is hidden. |
| **Metafields** | Wix doesn't support the [metafields](https://docs.sparklayer.io/developers/data/metafields.md) SparkLayer reads on other platforms, so features that rely on them, such as [pack sizes](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/storefront/quantity-rules.md) and [RRP pricing](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/pricing/pricing-display.md), aren't available. | **Subscriptions** | Wix subscription programmes aren't supported. |
| **Loyalty** | Wix loyalty programmes aren't supported. |
| **Digital products** | Digital products in Wix aren't supported. |

## Pricing and discounts

| Limitation | Details |
| --- | --- |
| **Multi-currency** | A Wix store [can only accept one currency](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-stores-request-selling-in-multiple-currencies). If you create price lists in other currencies at **Pricing > Price lists** in the SparkLayer Dashboard ([open](https://app.sparklayer.io/pricing/lists)), or **SparkLayer Wholesale > Pricing > Price lists** in the Shopify app, signed-in B2B customers see prices in their price list's currency, at the exchange rate at that time. But an order placed in another currency is created in your store's default currency, with the same amounts. |
| **Discounts and coupons** | Wix's own discounts can't be used alongside SparkLayer. Use the SparkLayer [Discount Engine](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/pricing/discounts.md) instead. |

## Customers

| Limitation | Details |
| --- | --- |
| **Customer address sync** | A customer's address syncs from Wix only once, when the `b2b` label is first added to the contact. Later changes to the contact's address in Wix don't sync to SparkLayer. Customers can add and edit addresses in the [My Account](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/storefront/interfaces/my-account.md) address book. |
| **The `b2b` label** | SparkLayer needs the `b2b` label. You can rename it in Wix, but if you've already renamed a `b2b` label, a new label you create called `b2b` is saved by Wix as `b2b+x`. |

## Checkout, shipping and tax

| Limitation | Details |
| --- | --- |
| **Custom checkout fields** | [Custom checkout fields](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/ordering/checkout-fields.md) need a developer on Wix. They add them in code, with the `checkoutCustomElements` option in a `window.sparkWixOptions` script: see the [checkout field example](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/platforms/wix/install.md#javascript-options). |
| **Additional fees** | Wix's [additional fees at checkout](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-functions-adding-additional-fees-at-checkout) aren't supported. |
| **Pickup and local delivery** | Wix [local delivery](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-stores-setting-up-local-delivery) isn't offered as a shipping option at checkout. Add it as a manual shipping method in SparkLayer [shipping](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/ordering/shipping-rules.md) instead. |
| **Tax exemptions** | Tax exemptions only apply when the customer checks out through the Wix checkout (**Card at checkout**). With offline payment methods, such as Pay by Invoice, tax is charged at checkout. |
