# Cancel, uninstall or transfer SparkLayer

URL: https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/platforms/bigcommerce/uninstall
Applies to: BigCommerce

Cancel SparkLayer on BigCommerce by uninstalling the app, see what happens to billing and your data, take a break or move SparkLayer to another store.

> **Quick summary**
>
> - To cancel SparkLayer, uninstall it like any other BigCommerce app, from **Apps > My Apps**. This ends your subscription, and SparkLayer billing stops straight away.
> - Treat uninstalling as deleting your SparkLayer data. Export anything you need first, such as your price lists. Remove the widget code from your theme yourself.
> - Want to take a break, reinstall later or move to another BigCommerce store? [Contact our team](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/support.md) before you uninstall.
> - For plans, downgrading and refunds, see [Billing, trials and cancelling](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md).

> **Uninstalling deletes your SparkLayer data**
>
> Treat uninstalling as deleting your SparkLayer account: its price lists, customer groups and settings. Before you uninstall, export anything you want to keep, such as your [price lists](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/pricing/managing-pricing.md). If you plan to reinstall, [move to another BigCommerce store](#move-to-another-bigcommerce-store) or need a [test store](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/test-mode.md), [contact our support team](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/support.md) first, so we can talk through your options. Don't uninstall to change your plan: see [Billing, trials and cancelling](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md).

## Uninstall SparkLayer

Uninstall SparkLayer like any other BigCommerce app.

1. In your BigCommerce admin, go to **Apps > My Apps**.
2. On the SparkLayer app, click **Uninstall**.

Your subscription ends, and SparkLayer's recurring billing is cancelled straight away. See BigCommerce's guide to [uninstalling apps](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/How-do-I-access-and-install-the-new-single-click-apps-within-my-Bigcommerce-store-control-panel?language=en_US#uninstalling).

### What happens next

- **Widgets:** if you added the SparkLayer [frontend interfaces](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/storefront/interfaces.md) to your theme, remove that code yourself or ask your developer.
- **Data:** treat uninstalling as deleting your SparkLayer data. SparkLayer stops receiving customer, product and order updates, and your account is scheduled for deletion, then deleted automatically after 30 days.
- **Charges:** your subscription ends. Depending on when your billing cycle started, you may see charges you weren't expecting. See [Billing, trials and cancelling](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md) for refunds, or [contact us](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/support.md) and we'll look into them.

## Pause your account

To stop using SparkLayer for a while and come back later, [contact our team](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/support.md) before you uninstall anything. Uninstalling deletes your SparkLayer data, so we'll talk through the options for your account and plan first. See [Billing, trials and cancelling](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md).

If you do uninstall, keep a copy of your theme with the SparkLayer code as a backup, and export your [price lists](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/pricing/managing-pricing.md) first.

## Move to another BigCommerce store

Your SparkLayer account is linked to one BigCommerce store URL. If you tried SparkLayer on a test or development store, you can move the account to another store. Because the move starts with uninstalling, [contact our support team](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/support.md) before you start, and export anything you want to keep.

1. In the BigCommerce store you're leaving, [uninstall SparkLayer](#uninstall-sparklayer). This disconnects it from that store.
2. [Sign in to the SparkLayer Dashboard](https://app.sparklayer.io/Login) with your original account and go to **Integrations > Platform** in the SparkLayer Dashboard ([open](https://app.sparklayer.io/configuration/integrations/platform)), or **SparkLayer Wholesale > Integrations > Platform** in the Shopify app.
3. Under **Your platform**, select **BigCommerce**, enter the URL of the new BigCommerce store and click **Save**. You're taken to the new store's BigCommerce admin.
4. Reinstall SparkLayer and choose a plan. You're returned to the SparkLayer Dashboard, and SparkLayer starts syncing the new store's products and customers.
5. Add the [frontend interfaces](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/storefront/interfaces.md) to the new store's theme.

If you need help moving stores, [contact us](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/support.md).
