See which ERP, inventory, accounting and shipping apps work with SparkLayer, what data each one syncs and how often, and how to connect it in the Dashboard.

In the Shopify app, **Partners** lists each app with a **Setup guide** button that opens its guide here.
> - ERPs send your B2B customers and prices into SparkLayer on a schedule. Accounting apps receive an invoice from SparkLayer for each B2B order paid by invoice or on account.
> - Xero and QuickBooks need the Pro plan, and the ERP integrations the Pro or Enterprise plan. The ERP and accounting integrations need a Shopify store, except Linnworks, which works on every platform. See [Compare platforms](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/platforms/compare.md).

## How integrations work

Your eCommerce platform is always connected to SparkLayer, in **Integrations > Platform** in the SparkLayer Dashboard ([open](https://app.sparklayer.io/configuration/integrations/platform)), or **SparkLayer Wholesale > Integrations > Platform** in the Shopify app. That's how SparkLayer knows your products and B2B customers: see [Platforms](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/platforms.md).

A partner integration connects one more system you use, such as an ERP or accounting app. Depending on the app, it does one of 3 things:

- Sends SparkLayer your B2B customers and prices (ERPs).
- Receives your B2B orders as invoices (accounting apps).
- Adds something to the buying experience, such as invoices or shipping rates (customer experience apps).

How data flows with an ERP integration such as Cin7 Core or Unleashed:

1. **Your ERP**: You manage B2B customers and price lists here
2. **SparkLayer**: Imports customers and prices on a schedule
3. **Your store**: B2B customers sign in and see their prices
4. **Back to your ERP**: Orders reach most ERPs through their own store integration

## Connect an integration

Each app's guide has the full steps, but connecting one always starts the same way.

1. Check the app works on your plan and platform in [Apps SparkLayer works with](#apps-sparklayer-works-with).
2. Sign in to the [SparkLayer Dashboard](https://app.sparklayer.io/) and go to **Integrations > Partners** in the SparkLayer Dashboard ([open](https://app.sparklayer.io/configuration/integrations/partners)), or **SparkLayer Wholesale > Integrations > Partners** in the Shopify app. Partner apps can't be switched on inside the Shopify app.
3. Find the app under its type, for example **Multi-channel management** for ERPs or **Accountancy** for Xero and QuickBooks, and turn on the switch next to it.
4. Sign in to the app to give SparkLayer access, or enter the details it asks for, such as an API key (a code from the app that lets SparkLayer read your data).
5. Follow the rest of the app's guide, for example to tag the customers you want to import.

If your plan doesn't include the app, it shows the plan it needs and an **Unlock** button instead of a switch. See [Unlock a feature](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/plan-and-features.md#unlock-a-feature).
