# Your account and team

URL: https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/account

Manage your SparkLayer account: find your Site ID, change your password, invite team members, set up a team for another store and change the team owner.

> **Quick summary**
>
> - Click your name at the foot of the SparkLayer Dashboard's sidebar to open the account menu: **Account** (your details, including your **Site ID**), **Password**, **Plan** and **Team**.
> - Your plan and usage are on the plan card, not here. See [Your plan and usage](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/plan-and-features.md).
> - Your company details can't be edited in the Dashboard. To change them, use our [change request form](https://forms.clickup.com/f/4b3cj-134/QGWV5GH8KV7KHQEBUS).
> - Each store you run SparkLayer on has its own team, with its own plan. Uninstalling SparkLayer from your store ends your subscription and deletes your SparkLayer account: see [Billing, trials and cancelling](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md#data-on-uninstall).

## Edit your account details

Click your name at the foot of the Dashboard's sidebar, then **Account**.

| Field | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | Your full name. |
| **Email address** | The email address you sign in to the SparkLayer Dashboard with. |
| **Company Name** | The company name registered with SparkLayer. |
| **Website** | The website address registered with SparkLayer. |
| **Site ID** | Your site's unique identifier, used when you set up the [storefront interfaces](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/storefront/interfaces.md) and the [SparkLayer API](https://docs.sparklayer.io/developers/api.md). |

To change your company information, use our [change request form](https://forms.clickup.com/f/4b3cj-134/QGWV5GH8KV7KHQEBUS). You can't edit it yourself, because SparkLayer relies on it to work, and changes could cause errors in your integration.

## Check or change your plan

Your plan is on the plan card at the foot of the SparkLayer Dashboard's sidebar, or under **Plan** in the Shopify app: **Plan card** in the SparkLayer Dashboard, or **SparkLayer Wholesale > Plan** in the Shopify app. On Shopify, all billing goes through Shopify, so you confirm any plan change in your Shopify admin. See [Your plan and usage](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/plan-and-features.md), and for billing on other platforms, downgrading and cancelling, [Billing, trials and cancelling](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md).

## Change your password

To change the password you sign in to the Dashboard with, click your name at the foot of the Dashboard's sidebar, then **Password**. If you've forgotten it, reset it from the [SparkLayer login page](https://app.sparklayer.io/forgotten-password).

## Invite team members

Team members get full access to your SparkLayer account and can make changes. Only the team owner can invite them.

1. In the SparkLayer Dashboard, click your name at the foot of the sidebar, then **Team**, and click **Add team member**.
2. In **Add team members**, enter the person's **Email Address** and send the invitation.
3. They receive an email inviting them to join your team. To get started, they click **Accept Invitation** and create an account.

To give a developer access for an API integration, see [Connect your ERP](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/settings.md#connect-your-erp).

## Create a new team

A team is a separate SparkLayer account for one store. Create a new team when:

- You want to trial SparkLayer on a development (test) store to try its features
- You run several stores under your brand and need a SparkLayer account for each

Every team you create is linked to your main SparkLayer login, so you sign in once to reach all of them. Each team has its own plan: see [Several stores or teams](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md#several-stores).

1. In the [SparkLayer Dashboard](https://app.sparklayer.io/), click the account and store switcher at the top of the sidebar.
2. Click **Create New Team**.
3. Enter a **Company Name** (shown when you access the team) and a **Company Website** (the store the team is for).
4. Click **Create Team**.

To switch between teams, use the same switcher at the top of the sidebar. A new team starts from the beginning of setup: see [Get started](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/get-started.md). You can then [invite team members](#invite-team-members) to it.

## Change the team owner

If you're the team owner, you can hand ownership to someone who's already a team member.

1. Click your name at the foot of the Dashboard's sidebar, then **Team**.
2. Find the team member and click **Change owner** (the arrows icon next to their name).
3. Confirm the change.

## Delete your account

You can't delete your SparkLayer account from the Dashboard. Instead, an account becomes inactive when you uninstall or disconnect SparkLayer from your online store, and it's then deleted automatically, with its data. While an account is scheduled for deletion, a warning shows at the top of the Dashboard.

Treat uninstalling as deleting your SparkLayer data. Before you do, keep anything you need, such as your price lists, and contact us if you plan to reinstall or move to another store. See [What happens to your data when you uninstall](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard/billing.md#data-on-uninstall).

If you have several SparkLayer accounts, you may see this warning on any account without an active store. Check you're signed in to the right one: use the account and store switcher at the top of the sidebar to choose the store.

For anything else about deleting your account, [contact us](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/support.md).

## Access the Dashboard from your Shopify admin

**Shopify only:**

On Shopify, you can manage SparkLayer in the Shopify app, **SparkLayer Wholesale** under **Sales channels** in your Shopify admin. See [Find your way around SparkLayer](https://docs.sparklayer.io/help/dashboard.md#two-versions).

When you open the SparkLayer Dashboard from your Shopify admin, it signs you in automatically to the Dashboard account of the team owner linked to your Shopify app installation. For security, you get restricted access if the email you sign in to Shopify with is different from the team owner's. You can't:

- Switch to other teams
- Manage teams
- Manage account details

For full access, sign out and sign back in with the team owner's details.
